As a single parent, opening up a salon in the 90s proved to be the ultimate life challenge I had to overcome. Twenty five years later, I am still going strong and continue to give back to the industry.I hope I am inspiring young single/married women to achieve the same.
I embody what it means to be hairdresser every single day of my active working life. Over the past ten years I have graduated many of Zedz apprenticeships. My hair team embarked on their hairdressing journey with me, and are still working alongside me. This type of investment in training takes time, money and energy and is proof of my dedication and passion for developing the industry. I live and breathe this ever-evolving industry and could not imagine life without it.

Mandy is currently working with Gorgeous Cosmetics, a high-end makeup brand from Australia.
Specialises in Bridal, School Ball Makeups and Photoshoots. She has also worked on Fashion shoots and Festival Makeup, but her favourite is making her clients look the best they can with the least amount of make-up possible.
"You don't need a lot of make-up to look glam - just the right blending and application. I've been at ZEDZ now as the Head of Makeup for 10 years.In that time, I have regular clients come to me, some who travel long distances, as well asfamily members of the School Ball girls I did a couple of years ago because they recommended me, and my own personal clients whohave followed me - all of which humbles me. It's been an incredible opportunity for my work to be featured in Magazines and that is due to working at ZEDZ. I get to work alongside some incredibly talented Hairstylists and together we create some work that we are all very proud of.
What I love to do whilst applying someone's makeup, is to explain what I’m doing, that way my guests will know what to do at home. If I can give out as many tips and tricks as I can to help others with their makeup application, I am even happier Even though I have been a Professional MUA for 16 years, I am constantly learning and picking up new techniques all the time. No matter how long you have been doing something, you will always manage to learn something new"
"Hi, my name is Belinda. I am a Master Stylist here at Zedz and I have been part of the team since 1999!
I started out at Zedz as a Junior Assistant on Thursday nights & Saturdays. This followed through with an apprenticeship. Within 4 years, I had completed my apprenticeship and became a qualified Senior Stylist.
I have been involved in many events whilst at my time here at Zedz; including Fashion shows, photo-shoots and competitions, and even winning awards for my work. Even though winning awards feels great, my favourite feeling is when my clients leave the salon happy, and return to me 6-8 weeks later for their regular visit. I have such a loyal clientele base that it humbles me to know that they trust me explicitly with all of their hair needs."
"Hi - My name is Grace and I am a Master Stylist here at Zedz.
I have been here since my Traineeship/Apprenticeship in 2009. I absolutely adore my clientele base which I have built up very quickly over the course of a couple of years, and I couldn't be happier. I listen to my clients' wants and needs and together we come up with the perfect style, whether it's colour and/or cut. I feel it is important to have a change every now and then as there are so many different techniques coming to the forefront of the Hair & Beauty industry.
My time at Zedz has given me many opportunities, such as being a part of the 'Zedz Art Team', being a Kerastase Ambassador and travelling to places like Sydney, Melbourne, Baliand Paris (Paris was a Kerastase Trip that I won, and what an amazing experience it was). I am now a Mum, and Zedz is my place to share my love of my career with my clients and the Zedz Team. I will continue to grow with Zedz and share my professionalism with you all. "Hi, my name is Kirsty and I have been at Zedz now for about 10 years. I am originally from the country and moved to the city to make it big as a Hairdresser! During this time, I have been involved in a lot of creative work from competition photoshoots to educational workshops and hair shows. I have also been fortunate enough to be able to travel to Paris to represent Australia as a part of a young creative team and travel over East to be a part of hair shows and events.
I was trained by the one and only Terrina Brown to apply Great Lengths Extensions and now have my own regular clientele who cannot live without their Great Lengths Extensions. I enjoy taking our guests on a journey that we can create personalised colour work, to then creating a new cut and style that they feel best suits their personality and lifestyle."

Hello I'm Shanecka.
I am a Jamaican-born, London-raised Hairstylist. I’ve been in the Hairdressing Industry for over 10 years now. My journey at Zedz began as a Junior Stylist in 2015 to 2018. Fast forward 5 years, I'm now a fully qualified Senior Stylist and Showpony Educator.I first fell in love with hairdressing at the age of 13 through assisting my mother, who is also an amazing Hairstylist and my biggest inspiration. We went on to own and run our own salon before I relocated to Perth in 2014. I am lover of all things hairdressing and am a strong all-rounder, but my ultimate passion is in extensions and education. Though I have always worked with extensions, the last few years I have become known as an Extension Specialist within my workplace."
What I love the most about extensions is the transformation. I live for a good 'before and after'. I love seeing how happy and confident my guests are having achieved their 'Hairgoals'.I also love sharing my knowledge and experience with others so that they can grow and become confident in what they do. I believe a thorough consultation with my guests ensures the best guidance with colour, cutting, styling and extensions. My main goal is to provide an outstanding client experience. Hello, my name is Sarah. I have only been a Master Stylist here at Zedz for a short while but so far enjoyed every moment. From looking after Zedz guests to participating in photoshoots for competitions and now becoming a member of the Foundation Guillaume team for Australia. Since 2006, I have been hairdressing including working internationally. To express my creative side, I like to use different colouring techniques and explore different colours that aren't often used. This personalises my work on each and every guest. My strength and loveare in short female haircuts. I believe it is so important to educate my guest on personalised hair and scalp care,whilst giving each guest the full salon experience. I look forward to seeing you soon."

My name is Eva and I have been in the hair and beauty industry for 6 years now. I started my hairdressing journey when I began my apprenticeship at Zedz hair and day spa. I continued to further my skills and love of hairdressing over the next 5 years and couldn't have been more fortunate to have the team and training I had the opportunity to be a part of.
A year after I qualified from hairdressing I then went back to Barcelona where my family are from and travelled through Europe while experiencing my heritage and culture first hand.
I am now back and eager to get back into hairdressing and continue my journey in this incredible industry and I couldn't think of a better place to do that then home with my Zedz family! I love all aspects of hairdressing but would say one of my favourite parts would be cutting, ladies and men's.

Hi, my name is Karis. I have been with the Zedz team for 6 years now.
Throughout my time at Zedz, I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to compete in the L'Oréal 2020 Colour Trophy, where I made it to the Semi Finals representing WA.
So needless to say, I am passionate about colouring, ranging from foiling to balayage, lightening and darkening. I also really enjoy styling and transforming hair with extensions. I strive to make all my guest feel welcome and feel gorgeous whilst in the salon. It is just as important that the way my guests feel about their new hairstyle lasts between salon visits. The right cut and colour counts!Can't wait to see you in the salon!"
Hi,my name is Olivia.I'm a Kiwi who moved with my partner to Perth a little over 3 years ago. I was lucky enough to gain a Stylist position at Zedz, after finishing my Certificate2 in New Zealand.
I specialise in Keratin smoothing, a service that assists our guest to manage their hair without fuss and all the excessive time it normally takes to make your hair look good.
I am now taking new guests for one of our most popular services, Keratin hair smoothing and straightening!
Additionally, if you wanting to have your hair styled for an event, I'm your girl as I love up dos. When it comes to colouring, I am very creative and love bright pink to natural blondes and everything in between! Looking forward to seeing you all at your next visit!"
Hi all, I'm Brooke!
I am Zedz Hair Apprentice and currently training inside and outside the salon. I am absolutely in love with hair and all the amazing and endless possibilities you can do to make somebody feel beautiful and unique.
Being artistic has always been a part of my structure, and finding my way to hairdressing has been nothing but a privilege and a pleasure. My style is a bit funkier than the norm. I love to work with bright fashion colours and edgy hairstyles. I am so passionate about training and the guidance I have received throughout my time at Zedz. It has been both motivating and surreal. Zedz makes me feel valued, encouraged, and this is the place I am meant to be.
I am aspiring to be as creative as possible in all areas of my work (styling, cutting, colouring) as my passion lays with individuality. I am also interested in makeup, and practice a lot at home so that I can completely transform clients and make them feel like they stand out in a crowd. It is so cool that Zedz provides both these opportunities.
As a Stylist my goal is to make clients feel warm, welcomed, & beautiful, and I look forward to seeing all of you amazing people transform into your best selves!
Hi everyone, my names Sam.
I'm the new face you'll be seeing around the salon, I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to start my apprenticeship with ZEDZ. I'm beyond excited to learn everything there is to know from Terrina herself. I have been a makeup artist for 5 years and I have always had a strong passion for hair dressing being given this chance is going to be life changing for myself and hopefully ZEDZ as well.
I have a very creative mind that I know will be supported throughout my career at ZEDZ, with such lovely staff and cliental base that made me feel completely welcomed I can't wait to see what my future holds.

In that time, I have gained a lot of experience in beauty treatments with the importance of providing my clients with the highest level of care, working to achieve their goals.
I am passionate about every aspect of Beauty Therapy, from results-driven services to relaxing treatments that leave you feeling loved and pampered.
My favourite thing about Facial Treatments is providing my clients with a Skincare Program to achieve the best possible results. This includes rebooking your appointments to see me on a recurring basis, as well as a homecare regime to keep up with your treatment at home.
