ONE OF OUR IMPORTANT GOALS IS TO UNITE BUSINESS AND THE COMMUNITY BY MEANS OF CHARITY WORK

 

Giving back to charities is very close to Zedz heart. Fundraising can be a fun, challenging and a rewarding experience.

Zedz have implemented a fund-raising plan in our annual calendar. Covering community and charity events including in-house awareness. 

Some of the beautiful causes, Zedz, is heavily involved with, include raising money to help fight Alzheimer’s, Prostate Cancer,

 Ovarian Cancer Research, World Vision and Education for Life.

Alzheimer’s–Mc Cusker research Foundation

HBF run for a reason, we raise funds for the awareness of Alzheimer’s and people living with dementia, their families and carers. 

The funds we raise will be used to research the cause and find a cure for a better quality of life for Western Australians living with dementia.

Ovarian cancer

World Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day in February, we join with one of our Hair Brands “Pureology” in working to raise funds and ensure 

the voices of Australians affected by ovarian cancer are heard, sharing their experiences in national, state and local media.

Movember

Is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. 

 

You will see the Zedz team wearing moustaches and raising funds.

World vision –

Zedz team uses Halloween to raise funds for our Beautiful Zedz sponsor child Theebika from Sri Lanka.

 

Our sponsorship donations support projects and activities designed to meet local needs and transform the world where your sponsored child lives.

Education for life-

Intercoiffure education for life is where you will see the Zedz team cooking cakes for our guests to raise monies for this charity. Intercoiffure brings together the best hairdresser’s worldwide and set’s the highest standards for the professional and human quality of its members. 


“Education for Life” aid programme started in Paris in 2004 and announced the thesis: “We feel it is our duty to support young people and give them a perspective. The most important thing we can give is qualified training”. 


This was also the birth of the first aid project, the first training school “Casa Do Menor” – survival aid and a way out for young people from the slums of Rio de Janeiro. “Intercoiffure Charity with the aim of supporting these projects works with delegates of the individual countries. 


The aim is to run training schools for the hairdressing trade in as many poor countries as possible.
